With over 20 years experience and being part of the TCUGB, I teach in my local community of Saffron Walden and the surrounding villages.
Tai chi is a total health and fitness art, that strengthens your posture, whilst exercising your brain and calming your emotions.
It improves flexibility, coordination, balance, concentration and relaxation through breathing techniques, whilst strengthening your immune system and helping sufferers with ailments such as arthritis and migraines.
My classes are small to enable individual instruction, feedback and discussion, which all help to improve understanding and learning.
I have also led a number of individual local events such as a tai chi world record attempt on our towns common, taught tai chi as part of the Mayors fitness day and also classes in our secondary school.
The process of experiencing a brain injury and its rehabilitation, has given me a deeper understanding of not only how we think, but how we process movement and the impact of stress and tension on our whole self, all of which I use in my teaching.
Classes involve Yang Family Long Form, Qigong standing and moving , Meditation, and much more.
Both weekly classes and one to one are available. Outside, inside and online depending on your requirements and the current situation. All adults are welcome, whether beginners or improvers. Please contact me to discuss your needs and for any further details.
