Charity. The Friends’ aim is to support the work of Audley End House and Gardens. There is an annual subscription to join. Membership entitles free access to Audley End House, Gardens and grounds, when open to public. However, Friends may have to pay an additional charge for entry to some special events.
Anyone is welcome to join the Friends. Membership is not restricted to people living locally. Our membership year now runs 1 April - 31 March.
If you apply to join the Friends any time up to 31 March each year, you will be sent an application form for an annual membership which will run 1 April - 31 March. There are various categories of single or household membership.
Applications submitted during the membership year are usually accepted but may be subject to a waiting list and there will not be any reduction in subscriptions.
An annual lecture is held in the spring. Information will be published in local newspapers or you may enquire at the Tourist Information Centre.
